    Technicolor Dreamcoat’ at High School

    Hicksville Public Schools will present Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at the high school on Thursday, March 14, Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16, with all shows starting at 7 p.m. The Hicksville Repertory Company and 35 third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students from the district’s seven elementary schools round out the cast, which will be accompanied by a full pit orchestra.

    High School senior Brian Parisi has been named the Nassau County Visual Arts Scholar for the month of October by the Long Island Arts Alliance and Newsday. He was awarded this title in recognition of his ongoing achievements both academically and as an artist.

    Hicksville Public School’s Third Annual Wellness Fair was held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The theme for this year’s fair was “Live, Laugh and Be Fit!” and that is what people were doing on Saturday. The turnout was great with hundreds of students, parents, staff and community members attending.
