Field Day at Fork Lane has been postponed until June 7th due to inclement weather.
Today was Orientation Day for new entry Kindergarten students. Current grade K students took the opportunity to visit with their future 1st grade teachers to get a hands on experience of what it's like being in a first grade classroom. Click for more.
Fork Lane fifth graders visited Mystic Seaport Maritime Museum in Mystic, Connecticut. The students observed historic vessels, fine artifacts & aquatic life. Click for more info.
Fork Lane held its annual spring concert featuring grades 4 & 5 orchestra, band and chorus students.
K-5 Fork Lane students were treated to a powerfully moving anti-bullying musical assembly performed by students from Random Farms Childrens' Theater Company who range in age from 11-14. The program teaches to stand up for what you believe in and other anti-bullying themes. Please click for more info.
Fork Lane students recently participated in a very worthy cause called Soles4Souls. This organization collects shoes and sneakers then recycles them and ships them to needy people all over the world.
