Notes From the Nurse
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the Burns Avenue community. My name is Joan Welsh. Although this will be my first year as your School Nurse, I have worked in the district for seventeen years. My most recent assignments were in St. Ignatius Loyola and East Street School.
Communication between the school and the home is essential. Please inform me of any concerns or medical conditions that may affect your child. In addition, feel free to stop by my office at any time or contact me at at (516)-733-2315. I will be more than happy to discuss any of your concerns.
