READING LISTS

          As you are aware, students in Burns Avenue took the MAP Reading Test at the beginning of the year.  The results, which were sent to parents, include a Lexile Range score.  The Lexile Range score is a measure that matches a student’s reading level with books that are on the same instructional level.  The Lexile score can be very helpful to parents and teachers because the measure can be used to provide children with books that are both interesting and readable.
