Transportation Eligibility
Transportation to public and non-public schools in the District is provided according to mileage guidelines, as approved by the voters of the district. The current guidelines are:
Grade K-5 living more than ½ mile from school Grade 6-8 living more than one mile from school Grade 9-12 living more than 1.25 miles from school
Transportation of non-disabled children to private and parochial schools outside the district is provided up to a maximum of 15 miles and must be requested by April 1 of the preceding year.
Transportation of disabled children is mandated by state law up to 50 miles.
