Forearm pass-Used when the ball is traveling towards you below your shoulders.

Offense- When your team has possession of the ball. You are trying to shoot on the basket.

Back board- The board behind the rim.
Dribble- Pushing the ball using your finger pads towards the floor, keeping it waist level and close to your body.
Pass- Chest, bounce, and overhead.
Jump ball- A way to begin the game.
Double dribble- Dribble stopping then dribbling again.
Traveling- Walking or running with the ball without dribbling.
Free throw- a shot from behind the foul line taken after a player has been physically fouled.
Jump Shot- A shot in which the player shoots the ball into the basket at the top of their jump.
Lay-up- A shot in which a basket is attempted from under the net.
