High School Level

All Social Studies students would benefit from reading periodicals regularly. Consider Time, Newsweek, U.S. News and World Report, and "The Week in Review" from Sunday's edition of the New York Times. One of the best reading strategies would be to read the newspaper daily. Consider the different perspectives provided by The New York Times or The Christian Science Monitor. Students may be interesting in learning more about certain topics in history. The list below covers topics in World History, US History, Law, Economics, Current Events and Psychology. The list includes fiction and nonfiction titles.
