Full-Day Program
WHERE: Hicksville Middle School for student entering Grade 1-6 in September 2012
WHEN : July 1 (Monday) to August 9 (Friday) 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (No Camp on July 4-5)
ELIGIBILITY: Children who will enter grade 1 to 6 in September 2013 and reside within the Hicksville Public School District
TUITION: $660 PER SIX WEEK FULL-DAY SESSION
INFORMATION: Daily schedule 8:30 am – 11:45 -Children will participate in two activities
11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Lunch (Campers bring their own lunch)
12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. -In the afternoons, the children will go on field trips or stay at the Middle School for Special Activity Days. (Trips schedule will be provided and permission slips will be required for all full-day campers) In addition, each child attending the full-day program will receive a free T-Shirt which must be worn on all afternoon field trips. Additional T-Shirts may be purchased at a cost of $15.00 each.

Half-Day Program
WHERE: Hicksville Middle School for students entering Grades 1-8 in September 2012

Session 1 July 1– July 12 (No Camp July 4, 5) Session 2 July 15 – July 26
Session 3 July 29 – August 9
ELIGIBILITY: Children who will enter grades 1 to 8 September 2012 add reside within the district.
TUITION: $120 2-week half-day program
$240 4-week half-day program
$360 6-week half-day program
INFORMATION: Daily schedule 8:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Children will select two activities for each session they attend
Summer Recreation
Registration must be completed for all full-day and half-day campers. These forms are included in the brochure and can be filled out online. Additional forms are available at each of our district elementary schools and the Middle School. All registrations will be processed on a first-come, first –served basis. No refunds will be provided without medical documentation after May 1, 2012. Please print a copy of these documents for your records.
If you are signing up your child for Arts & Craft, Advance Arts & Crafts, Cooking, or Sculpture, you must pay a $10 material for each course at time of registration. You may write one check for both deposit and applicable materials fee.

Balance of tuition must be paid in full. There are no exceptions. There will be no walk-in registration.

General Information
Nurse –A nurse will be assigned daily to the Middle School from 8:30 am until noon. A second nurse will be assigned from 11:45 am to 3:30 pm. There will be two nurses at the camp in the afternoon. A nurse always goes on field trips.Physical Examinations– Physical examinations are required for all program participants. The Medical Forms attached to this site must be completed by your physician. This must also indicate that your child has received an annual physical and the required doses of immunization. All forms must be returned no later than June 15, 2013.
