FIFTH GRADE NEWS

         The Fifth Grade teachers are excited to begin another wonderful year. We are busy preparing for our Social Studies State Assessment which will take place in November.  We have been practicing writing our document-based questions and are reviewing a lot of Social Studies information.

        On Constitution Day, we sang the Preamble for each class in our school. We also explained each of the Amendments to the Constitution.  The children in the school really seemed to enjoy our presentation.

         We will be going on some exciting trips this year. Our first trip is to Sweetbriar Nature Center. 

         We look forward to another great year!
