Lee Avenue Elementary School is a true community of learners. Serving approximately 460
students in Kindergarten through fifth grades, we have a diverse and inclusive staff and student body. At Lee, we celebrate each individual's
special talents and teach the appreciation of cultures and traditions that are represented in our school.
The parents of our students continue to be an integral part of the learning process at Lee Avenue. Our PTA is very
active, bringing a wide range of fun-filled and educational activities to our students.
Our dedicated staff works hard to ensure that all students receive a standards-based, quality education consisting
of English language arts, social studies, science, math, and interdisciplinary studies. Our students enjoy the use of computers in our
computer laboratory, the library media center and in their classrooms, as part of our commitment to integrate technology into the curriculum.
The children also enjoy participating in chorus, orchestra, band, studio art, and the Great Books program. Special lunchtime activities
include; art, music, library and computer clubs, Banana Splits, Social Skills groups and organized recreational games.
Each and every day, we strive to ensure that our students receive the best possible education, enabling them to become
responsible and productive members of our society.
