Students Celebrate Thanksgiving

Students in Burns Avenue had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving this year.  On Tuesday, November 22, the Kindergarten students sang Thanksgiving songs and participated with their parents in the making of necklaces, holiday wreaths, and cookies that looked like turkeys.  On Wednesday, November 23, students in First Grade dressed up as Pilgrims and Native Americans, made necklaces, and enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast.  Students in all of the other Grades also had parties and everyone had the opportunity to say thanks to their teachers and classmates.
The staff of Burns Avenue wishes all of our parents and students a Happy Thanksgiving and we hope that you have time to enjoy some precious time with your family and friends during the holiday season.
