Please note that this “Snow Contingency Day” is indicated on the school calendar.
Therefore, the Spring Recess will begin on Friday, March 30 and end on Friday, April 6 with students returning to school on Monday April 9.
Additionally, in order to meet this 180 day requirement, the District will be holding a Superintendents Conference Day, for faculty and staff only, later in June.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together to meet the challenges of this winter season.
The Hicksville Board of Education held a public hearing on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 8:30pm to allow the community to ask questions and/or provide input into the district-wide school safety plan. The final, approved plan is available below.
