Submission of Nominating Petitions
for the Board of Education

District residents who are interested in running for a Board of Education position should contact John O’Brien, District Clerk, at 516-733-2104 or jobrien@hicksvillepublicschools.org to request nominating petitions.

Nominating petitions must be submitted to the District Clerk no later than Monday, April 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. in order to appear on the ballot for the May 18, 2021 election. In light of the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, petitions will be accepted by mail as well as by email to jobrien@hicksvillepublicschools.org, fax to 516-733-1187 or delivered to the Administration building and placed in the lobby lockbox between the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
