THE 2020 SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM

WHO WILL BE
ENTERING GRADES 1-6 IN SEPT. 2020 ONLY

REGISTRATION WILL START ON MARCH 4, 2020 AT 7:00 AM


Dear Parent/ Guardian:

This letter is being provided to all parents of students who will be entering grades 1-6 as of September 2020, to convey important information regarding the 2020 Summer Recreation Program.

For the upcoming 2020 Summer Session the program will be relocated and held at Old Country Road Elementary School.  The program will be open for students’ grades 1-6.  The purpose for the change in venue is to provide the necessary space required for the planned capital projects which will be taking place at the High School, Middle School and other Elementary schools within the district starting on June 27th.   The scope of work that will be taking place will benefit all students within our schools for many years to come. 

The use of the Old Country Road School will allow us to continue to provide this program to the public in a safe and suitable environment.  Tuition will NOT change from the $790 Full Day and $150 per session Half Day.  The only action parents would need to do upon online registration is to register for Full Day or Half Day.   

Over the course of your child’s time in the 2019 program he/she will participate in the following activities. The activities that can be offered are as follows:

  • Arts & Crafts, Math, Board Games and Science
  • Gym Activities:Volleyball, Games, Basketball, Kickball, Cooperative Activities and Game
  • Outdoor Activities: Softball, Flag Football, Soccer, Cooperative Activities and Games
  • Limited assemblies and presentations will be available based upon the total registration.

Registration will open on March 4, 2020 at 7:00 am.  Registration will close on June 2, 2020

 There will be no refunds after June 1st
 unless a Doctors note is provided for a Medical Reasons.

Session II: July 13 - July 24
Session III: July 27-August 7

Students must be a residents of Hicksville
**Child must live in Hicksville*

*If you are NOT a resident of Hicksville and you register you will not receive a refund. We do go through the lists and confirm residency.

*We DO NOT provide Buses or transportation to or from this program.

*We DO NOT provide after hour care. Being Late for pickup will result in your child being removed from the program (no refund).

*We DO NOT provide discounts for multiple children.

*We Do NOT provide Financial Assistance.

Summer Recreation Online Information
and Registration

PROGRAM RUNS: JUNE 29- AUGUST 7th

PROGRAM WILL BE HELD AT THE

FOR THE SUMMER OF 2020

GRADES 1- 6 ONLY

Online Registration will begin
 at 8:00 am on March 4th

Registration will end June 2nd
 

Should you want to register via mail you may pick up a registration brochure in the Main Office of your child’s building.  You must still submit the full payment when registering for the program through the mail.

In order to register online for Summer Recreation, you will go to the "Register Now" link to the left of this page.
  On this web page you will find the link to register and information regarding the required medical documentation for attendance (please download if needed). Please read through these pages as they contain information that is required for your child’s attendance at the camp.

Click on 'Register Now'- 
Then click on 'Summer Recreation Program' and select your options. 

By clicking the “Register Now” link you will be directed to ‘PaySchools’ to select and pay for your selected Summer Recreation sessions.  

The Payschools may ask you for a student ID Number.  This is for your information only.  You may make up any number you wish.

Please remember if you are registering for Full day 
you must select the Half Day Sessions as well.
Full Day = $790

Half Day -$150 per Session you choose

 Please note that if you are registering for  the “Full Day”
  you must click on the “Full Day Upgrade” when paying
AS WELL AS  
the Half Day Sessions (I,II,III) you wish
 for your
child to attend.
 

**When you register there is no need to confirm with us that you have registered.  We receive a document immediately after you register with 'Payschools' showing what you registered for
and the price you paid.

To Register for the ‘Full Day’ program
Grades 1-6

1. Select the Half Day sessions in which you wish to have your child attend and add to your shopping cart.
2. When completed select the Upgrade to Full Day Program and add it to your cart.
3. When done click the “Check Out” button.
4. Complete the required information.
5. Enter your child/children’s information then click ‘add student’.
6. Follow the directions for adding the child to the class and click “Continue”
7. Before submitting payment verify that all information is correct.  Select method of payment and follow the payment directions.

Please make sure to print a copy of your final registration for your records.  Should there be any problems you will be notified as soon as possible. 

To Register for the ‘Half Day’ Sessions
Grades 1-6

1. Select the Session or Sessions you wish to have your child to attend and add to your shopping cart. 
2. When done click the “Check Out” button.
3. Complete the required information.
4 .Enter your child/children’s information then click ‘add student’.
5. Follow the directions for adding the child to the class and click “Continue”
6. Before submitting payment verify that all information is correct.  Select method of payment and follow the payment directions.

Please make sure to print a copy of your registration for your records.  Should there be any problems you will be notified as soon as possible.
