This year, the district’s annual holiday card contest spotlighted the creativity of high school students. The 2024 winning design was created by 11th-grader Julian Gandolfo in Ms. Andolina’s Advanced Graphic Design class.
Julian crafted his winning artwork using Adobe Photoshop, a Macintosh computer, and a pen tablet. His design features a serene winter landscape depicting a polar bear and a penguin, set against the enchanting backdrop of the northern lights. His goal was to evoke a sense of calm and soft texture, achieved skillfully through digital tools.
