Students at Woodland Elementary School in Hicksville are learning about maps and landforms. Third graders in Megan Callahan’s class thought of imaginary places they discovered. After coming up with these new locations, students made their own maps, even including map keys to feature the landforms. They also wrote questions about their maps for their classmates to answer.
