After a two-year hiatus, the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade was back, and its invited guests were the Hicksville High School Marching Band. Hicksville High School Band students marched in the 261st annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17th, and they proudly represented the entire Hicksville School District in this special event.  The Marching Comets were directed by High School Band Director, Kerri Barnett and accompanied by Supervisor of Fine Arts and Theater, Chad Wyman. Their performance was televised on national television, and can be seen on the official St. Patrick’s Day Parade website at https://www.nycstpatricksparade.org/. Hicksville Public Schools is honored to have been able to give this unique opportunity to their marching band students.
