Children's Hope of India, the Kiwanis Club and the Hicksville Council of PTAs joined with the school district to provide local families with traditional Thanksgiving dinners and additional food support this season. The Hicksville Council of PTAs organized a non-perishable food drive with the help of all 10 individual PTA units within the district.  “We were able to provide approximately 80 families with grocery store gift cards, a bag of ‘Thanksgiving Food,’ and additional food items that included cereal, soup, pasta mixes, and more,” explained PTA Council President Erin Guida.
