The Woodland Elementary School community came together to host an International Night on June 11. Students and their families gathered in the school’s parking lot to showcase their cultures in various ways.

Students created flags that were displayed in front of the building and families made boards that explained details about their culture, food, clothing or music. Attendees were given a passport that was stamped at each country showcase they visited, including Peru, Poland, Fiji, Ecuador, Ireland, Armenia, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Woodland’s International Night gave students the opportunity to learn about traditions from other cultures, historical landmarks around the world and different languages.
