School Budget

The school district budget is the operational plan of the District's programs, stated in financial terms, for the fiscal year July 1 through June 30. The Board of Education is responsible for adopting the school budget and presenting it to the voters at an annual public hearing. The budget must be presented in three components - Program, Capital and Administrative. The law includes other requirements, such as the mailing to each resident of the budget notice and the property tax report card.
