  • Geography Bee

Each year students have the ability to display their knowledge of geography in the National Geographic Geography Bee. All Hicksville Middle School students compete in class and then the class winners go on to the school level bee. This year over 35 students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grade participated in the final round which was held on January 13th. Each grade level produced one winner. The three grade level winners competed in a final round. This year the overall building winner was Brandon. Brandon will take a written test and, if he qualifies, will go onto the national bee hosted by Alex Trebek and have the opportunity to win $25,000.
