Adult Continuing Education

Adult Continuing Education

It is never too late to learn!

Come discover opportunities to grow academically, personally, and professionally through Hicksville Public Schools’ Adult Continuing Education program. Our program provides opportunities and activities to promote lifelong learning, so consider coming out in the evening to enjoy the company of other adults as a community of learners explores new interests and strengthens present ones. Classes for the Spring 2020 session begin Monday, March 2nd, 2020.

We are pleased to offer this program to district residents and to those outside the community as well. Senior Citizens who are district residents enjoy free access to many courses; when a course is not free, district resident senior citizens pay a reduced fee in most cases.

Non-Residents are welcome to attend our program for an additional $15.00 per course. You can register by mail or by coming to the Adult Continuing Education Office, which is located in Room 105 of Hicksville High School.

The office is open Monday ‒ Thursday from 3:30 PM ‒ 7:30 PM.

Walk-in registrations will be accepted beginning Monday, February 24th, 2020.

District residents will receive a copy of the program flyer in the mail. Access to a brochure containing course dates, times, and descriptions is available via the link below. Paper copies of the brochure will be available also in the Hicksville Public Library, Hicksville Public Schools, Community Centers, and in the Office of Continuing Education.
