Hicksville Middle School’s Fourth Annual Indoor Snowball Fight recently brought together nearly 200 students from all grade levels for a fun, free after-school event.

The students collaborated to build creative “forts” using mats and soccer nets before competing in grade-level teams. Between rounds, participants sipped hot chocolate and enjoyed board games, creating an afternoon filled with school spirit and teamwork.

The event was made possible through the support of the Middle School PTA and several dedicated parent volunteers. Their hands-on involvement serving drinks and supervising helped ensure a safe and engaging experience for everyone.

“This fun afternoon gave our students a chance to build friendships, work as teams, and simply enjoy being kids. We’re grateful to our PTA and parent volunteers for helping create such a memorable experience for everyone involved,” said Hicksville Middle School Principal Ben Tangney.

Together, students, faculty, and parents turned the cold theme into a warm hearted afternoon of fun.
