Shared Decision Making-Site Based

As required by the Commissioner’s Regulation 100.11 each of our schools has formed a Site Based Management Team also known as "Shared Decision Making". As stated in the regulations, “The purpose of school-based planning and shared decision making shall be to improve the educational performance of all students in the school, regardless of such factors as socioeconomic status, race, sex, language background, or disability.”

The Hicksville Union Free School District is firmly committed to implementing, supporting, and evaluating a school educational plan for Shared Decision Making which will generate a spirit of collaboration and promote the achievement of excellence in all phases of school life for each member of the school community.The following dates are for the 2025-2026 School Year.

  • March 2, 2027
  • May 6, 2027

All District Shared Decision Making meetings are at 4pm.
